How do we help with SDGs? A guide to what we do and how you can be involved.

Promoting nonprofit organizations in tourism industry can play a crucial role in furthering the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, and partnerships for the goals. By showcasing and endorsing sustainable tourism initiatives, we highlight the importance of preserving natural and cultural heritage, promoting local economies, and ensuring the tourism sector's contribution to sustainable development. The platform also serves as a bridge between nonprofit organizations, potential donors, tourists, and local communities. By facilitating communication and collaboration, our website can help nonprofit tourism organizations find the resources and support they need to scale their impact. This collective effort can lead to increased employment opportunities in tourism, especially for vulnerable populations, and promote local culture and products, contributing to: SDG4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). Additionally, by advocating responsible tourism, the platform can encourage tourists and industry stakeholders to minimize their environmental impact, supporting SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 14 (Life Below Water), and SDG 15 (Life on Land). Right now we only have contacts with nonprofit organizations in Stockholm, Sweden, but you can help us by suggesting to us which nonprofit organizations in Sweden we should reach out to for collaborations in contents and help those nonprofit organizations to be visible to international visitors.
